Ionia Sentinel Standard, 30 Apr 1929

Mrs. Katherine Klenk, 75, died at the home of her son, Jacob Klenk, 922 West
Lincoln avenue, Tuesday morning at 1 o’clock.  The funeral services will be held
in St. Joseph church St. Johns, Thursday morning at 10 o’clock.  Interment will
be in the St. Johns cemetery.

Mrs. Klenk had lived in St. Johns the past two years but came to the home of her
son eight weeks ago seeking medical aid in Ionia.

Besides her son, she is survived by nine grandchildren; one sister and a
brother, Mrs. Ida Esch and Fank Newman, St. Johns; a brother, Peter Newman,
Okemos.
