Lake Odessa Wave
          CHRIS KLEPFER DIED MONDAY
   Christian Klipfer, 82, died Monday at his home here following a long illness.  He
was born in Hastings on October 17, 1862, and had lived in Lake Odessa since 1902.  
Survivors are three sisters Mrs Katherine Snyder, Lake Odessa, Mrs. Eliabeth Lusty 
in Carlton and Mrs. Rose Behler at Freeport, and one brother Jacob in Lake 
Odessa.
   The funeral was held this afternoon at 2 at the Wortley A. Baine chapel and
burial was in Lakeside cemetery.
   Forty years ago he wa a wall paper and picture frame salesman here and later for
several years he sold the Grand Rapids Herald here.
