Jacob Klepfer was found dead in bed at his home Wednesday evening. Foster France had not seen him around for several days and notified George Harrington, night watchman, who on investigation found the elderly man. Deputy Clarence Aldrich and under sheriff Pete Van Vleck of Ionia were called also Coroner Wallace Jackson, who stated Mr Klepfer apparently died from natural causes. He would have been 70 the 23rd of September. Surviving are a son Fred of Nashville and two sisters, Mrs.Rose Beuhler at Freeport and Mrs.Elizabeth Lusty of Carlton and three grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Sunday at 3 p.m. at the Pickens Funeral Chapel. Burial will be held at the Lakeside Cemetery.
