Rose E. Klimas, age 93, passed away on Thursday, February 5, 2009. She was 
born on June 26, 1915 in Ionia the daughter of John and Emma (Hansa) Rumisek. 
Ms. Klimas was a member of Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church and was a 
Telephone Operator at Illinois Bell Telephone Company for 41 years before 
retiring. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; 2 brothers, Fred and Lawrence 
Rumisek. Surviving are her son, Joseph Klimas of Ringwood, Illinois and a 
sister, Elsie Rumisek of Ionia. 

The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by the Rev. Melvin Fox, Pastor 
at 11 am Tuesday, February 10, 2009 at Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church. 
Rite of Committal will take place in the spring at Mt. Olivet Catholic 
Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church on Tuesday from 10 - 
11 am. For those desiring, memorial contributions may be made to the Charity 
of One's Choice in memory of Rose E. Klimas. Arrangements are entrusted to the 
Schrauben-Lehman Funeral Homes, Ionia.
