Raymond L. Kline, age 71, of Matherton, passed away Wednesday, April 25, 2007 
at his home.  Raymond was born July 26, 1935 in Ohio to Victor and Julia Sarah 
(Dummond) Kline.  He married Ellen Reed on September 19, 1955 in Angola, IN.  
Raymond and his wife formerly owned a bait shop in Matherton.  He enjoyed 
gardening, hunting, fishing, wood working, and could fix any small motor.

He is survived by his wife Ellen of Matherton, four children, Sue (John) 
Nilsson of Saranac, Susanne Kline of Matherton, Mike (Barbara) Kline of 
Matherton, Andy (Melissa) Kline of Matherton, 15 grandchildren and 22 great 
grandchildren.  Also two brothers, Robert Kline of Eagle, Louis (Sharon) Kline 
of Westphalia, two sisters, Wilma (Ed) Fitzpatrick of TX., and Thelma Quick of 
TX.  Raymond was preceded in death by his parents and a sister-in-law, Rosie 
Kline.

A funeral service will be held Tuesday, May 1, 2007 at 11 a.m. at the Lux and 
Schnepp Funeral Home in Carson City with Father Charlon Mason officiating.  
Interment will be in East Plains Cemetery.  Visitation will be held Monday 
from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.  Memorials may be made to the Ionia 
Commission on Aging
