Ionia Sentinel-Standard - Wed. Sept. 12, 2012

Marilyn M. Klinesmith, 84, of Ionia, passed away Sept. 11, 2012. She was born 
Sept. 17, 1927 in Ionia, the daughter of Fred and Lila (Disbrow) Moore. She 
married Carl Klinesmith June 30, 1951. He preceded her in death in 1989.

Marilyn was a member of the First United Methodist Church. She also was a 
member of the Quilting Club for the United Methodist Church, the UMW, and South 
Ionia Friendship Club.

Marilyn was a past Sunday School teacher and Girl Scout Leader. She was an avid 
gardener.

Marilyn is survived by her children, Jane (Randy) Martin of Mount Pleasant, 
Nancy Klinesmith of Ionia, Diane (Duane) Roskoskey of Grand Ledge, and Jeff 
(Don) Klinesmith of Ionia; grandchildren, Ryan Martin of Mt. Pleasant, Shelly 
(Mark) Gregory of Saranac, Joseph Klinesmith of Ionia, Benjamin Roskoskey of 
Grand Ledge, Daniel Roskoskey of Grand Ledge, and Aubrey Roskoskey of Grand 
Ledge; and great grandchildren, Bryan Gregory, Logan Gregory and Brooklyn 
Gregory.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, 11 a.m. at First United Methodist 
Church with Pastor Larry Brown officiating. Interment at Balcom Cemetery. The 
family will receive friends and family at the church at 10 a.m. prior to the 
service.
