Ionia Daily Standard - Mon. March 5, 1906

Mrs. Alice A. Klingenberg died at 9:40 last night. Mrs. Klingenberg was the 
daughter of Jesse Holcomb, a well known pioneer, and a sister of Geo. W. 
Holcomb of this city. She was born March 15, 1853. She leaves three children: 
Claude, a son by first husband, whose whereabouts are unknown; and Mabel and 
Eva Klingenberg of this city. Decedent was a woman of many admirable traite of 
character, and enjoyed the confidence and esteem of citizens generally. Service 
at family residence, 164 E. Front street, at 2 p.m., on Wednesday. Interment, 
Oak Hill.
