He was taken in a car with a man and woman at East Lansing, where he had been working previously. WHEN NEAR Birmingham there was an accident when three cars collided at an intersection. Max was killed and another young man died Monday morning. Max was nineteen, a graduate of Grand Ledge high school and was planning on driving a car to California for Detroit dealers. The funeral was held in Grand Ledge, Monday afternoon, with burial at Lakeside in Lake Odessa. He leaves his father and mother, a sister Irene, and a brother Robert; two grandmothers, Mrs. John Heintzelman and Mrs. Ellen Lapo, both of Lake Odessa.
