Elizabeth Jane Klingman, aged 93, of Olivet, formerly of Lake Odessa, passed 
away Saturday evening, March 1, 2008.  Elizabeth was born in Nashville, Mich. 
on Aug. 8, 1914 to Albert and Celestia (Good) McClelland. She graduated from 
Nashville High School in 1932 and was united in marriage to Elwood B. Klingman 
on Dec. 28, 1938.

Elizabeth is survived by her children, David (Judy) Klingman of Olivet, Nathan 
(Anita) Klingman of Lansing and Lois (Robert) Reese of Lake Odessa; three 
grandchildren; seven grandchildren; and sisters, Mildred Parker of Battle 
Creek, Alberta Gosch of Jamestown, N.Y., and Edith Watkins of San Diego, Calif.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Elwood on Aug. 22, 1996; 
and brothers, Vernard, Adron, Ralph, Kenneth and Galen McClelland. Visitation 
will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, March 6, 2008 at the 
Koops Funeral Chapel in Lake Odessa. The funeral service will be held at the 
Koops Funeral Chapel at 11 a.m. on Friday. Burial will be in Lakeside 
Cemetery. The family has suggested that memorial contributions may be made to 
the Red Cross, or to the American Cancer Society.
