Lake Odesa Wave - Times - January 2, 1941
          MRS. MARIA KLINGMAN PASSED AWAY MON.
                                ----------------
        LIVED IN ODESSA MORE THAN FORTY YEARS. 
LEAVES A GRANDDAUGHTER. FUNERAL THURSDAY AFTERNOON.
                                ----------------
   Mrs. Maria Kingman died at her home a mile west of Lake Odessa. Monday morning,
after an illness of 
several weeks.
   She was born in Canada, married John Kingman in Kent county, near Caledonia. 
They came to Odessa 
township more than forty years ago
   She had one daughter Mrs. Leander Peacock, who died in 1925.  Her husband died in
May 1932.  Had Mrs. 
Klingman lived until March she would have been 80 years old.
   Surviving are one granddaughter, Mrs. Helen Peacock Haller, and one great
grandchild of Lake Odessa; and 
one sister, Mrs. M. Humphrey of Hastings.
   Funeral services will be held from the Wortley and Baine funeral home Thursday
afternoon.  Interment will 
be at Lakeside cemetery.
