RITES TODAY FOR FORREST KLINGMAN

Forrest Klingman, 81, of Six Lakes and a former Lake Odessa area resident, 
passed away at Belding Christian Nursing Home April 13, 1976.

He was born on a farm in Campbell Twp., near lake Odessa, May 31, 1894, the son 
of Jacob and Nellie (Packer) Klingman. He spent his early life in that area and 
attended Lake Odessa High School. He married Lola Lapo October 4, 1916 and they 
moved to Detroit. In 1930 they moved to Grand Ledge and in 1940 to a  farm SW of 
Six Lakes and ten years ago to their home at Lake Forest. He was a real Estate 
Broker and a salesman for American Annuity Assn., of Lansing.

He was an active member of the Church of the Nazarene of both Grand Ledge and 
Greenville.

Surviving are his wife, Lola, a daughter, Mrs.Donald (Irene) Gustavsen of Six 
Lakes and a son Robert of St.Clair Shores, 3 grandchildren, a sister, Verda 
Bigelow of Midland, two brothers, Homer of Lake Odessa and Roy of Tucson, 
Arizona cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends.

Mr. Klingman reposes a Pickens-Koops Funeral Chapel, Lake Odessa where services 
will be held Thursday. April 15 (today) at 2 PM.

Pastor Rev. Alan Hulliberger of the Greenville Church of the Nazarene will 
officiate with burial in Lakeside cemetery, Lake Odessa.

The family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Greenville Church 
of the Nazarene. Envelopes are available at the chapel.
