Lake Odessa Wave Thurs. November 30, 1972

Services Held for Vernon Klingman

Vernon L. Klingman, 80, passed away Tuesday, November 21, at Provincial House in 
Hastings where he  had been a patient since September 20th.

Mr. Klingman was born near Lake Odessa December 13, 1891, the son of David and 
Belle (Lipscomb) Klingman, and was a life long resident of the Lake Odessa area 
except for a few years when he resided in Lansing. He was married to Edna 
B.Bever of Lake Odessa on June 5, 1912. Mr.Klingman was a retired farmer,  
moving into town October 1965. He was a member  of the Lake Odessa Senior 
Citizens.

He is survived by his wife, Edna B'; one son Elwood B. of Lake Odessa; one 
daughter, Mrs.Irwin(Yvonne) Heidrick of Lake Odessa; 5 grandchildren; and one 
great-grandchild.

Funeral services were held Saturday, November 25, at 1:30 p.m. in the Pickens 
Funeral Chapel with Rev. Arthur Ruder officiating. Burial was in Lakeside 
cemetery.
