She was born December 18, 1897 at Hospers, Iowa, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Hoffs and attended school at Hospers. She married Frank Klein in 1917 and they came to Lake Odessa from Hospers, Iowa in 1937. Mr. Klein passed away in 1944. She married Daniel Kluinsteker at Hudsonville in 1959 and resided in that area until after his death in January, 1968 and then returned to Lake Odessa. Mrs. Kluinsteker was a member of the Central United Methodist Church, the United Methodist Women, the Adult Fellowship of the church and the Lake Odessa Senior Citizens. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Wendall (Iola) Price, two sons, W. O. Klein and M. A. Klein, all of Lake Odessa eight grandchildren, three sisters. Mrs. H. J. VandeSteeg, Mrs. John Roetman and Mrs. Arthur Wierks and a brother, Joe Hoffs, all of Hospers, Iowa. Funeral services were held Monday at 1:30 at the Pickens-Koops Funeral Chapel. Rev. William Hertel, Rev. Charles Dunbar and Rev. Vernon Hoffs officiated with burial in Lakeside Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the memorial fund for the Central United Methodist Church and envelopes are available at the chapel.
