She was born November 19, 1908 in Tracy, Minn. to John and Mattie Morgan. She married Rev. Paul Knaak, August 8, 1930 in Moody Church in Chicago, Ill. He preceded her in death October 28, 1980. She proudly served the Lord at her husband’s side at churches in Pontiac, Ill., Grand Rapids, Brooklyn, Ionia, Marshall and Albion, Mich. She especially enjoyed her time working with children, young people and women’s ministry. She had a special heart for missionaries. She had a beautiful voice and sang solos, duets with her husband and in the choir. She worked at Oakland Hospital in Marshall for 16 years, she enjoyed sewing and crafts. She wintered in Mesa, Ariz. for 17 years, enjoyed spending time with her brother and sister. Preceded in death by her brother, Rev. Gerald Morgan and Kenneth Morgan. Survived by her daughters, Mary (Charles) Dewey and Judith (Bill) Tedder; grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Bruce (Pat) Dewey, Jackie Dewey and fiancé Jimmy Knight and Brian Dewey and Kaylyn (Mike )VanHam and Dustin VanHam, Cristen Vogt and fiancé Jeff Brown, Trip and Tyler Vogt, Bill (Lisa) Tedder Jr., Lana (Glen) Stanfield; one sister, Ethelyn Hall. Funeral services will be held at the Bethel Baptist Church, 1691 Springport Rd., Thursday at 11 a.m., with the Reverend Leo Cumings officiating. Private burial Highland Cemetery, Brooklyn. Visitation Wednesday, 4 to 8 p.m. at Charles J. Burden & Son Funeral Home 1806 E. Michigan Ave., Jackson, MI.
