He had been ill about ten days. Mr. Knaggs was born July 25, 1860, in Monroe county, New York. When he was five years old his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Knaggs, came with their family to Evergreen township, Montcalm county, where he lived until he was 16 years of age. He then came to Ronald where he lived until his death. He was united in marriage with Ida A. Alvord of Palo, December 27, 1886, and they celebrated their golden wedding anniversary in December 1936. He is survived by Mrs. Knaggs, one son, Williard Knaggs, Bushnell township; a daughter, Mrs. Flora Edwards, South Bushnell; a brother, John Knaggs, Cairo; a sister, Mrs. Charles Everest, of Palo, and nine grandchildren. Rev. Louis Herrick of Palo conducted the funeral service which was held from the home at 2:00 Monday afternoon, May 8. Burial was in North Plains cemetery.
