Rheuhama Knapp, nee Folk wife of L. B. Knapp, was born in Washington county, Maryland, Oct 16, 1844, and died at her home in West Odessa, August 28, 1907, aged 62 years and 10 months. She was united in marriage to Leonard Knapp in the city of Toledo, January 23, 1865. To this union were born fifteen children, four of whom have died; the eleven still living are all grown men and women. Mrs. Knapp was a faithful wife and mother and no one will miss her as keenly as those who are left in the home from which she was taken. She was converted to the Christian faith about thirty years ago, and she with her husband were members of the U.B. church of West Odessa for a number of years. Mrs. Knapp had always enjoyed good health until the past two or three years. Beside the husband and family of eleven children, she leaves twenty-four grand children and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her death.
