Fred Knapp who was born in Berlin township and a son of Benijah Knapp died in Pueblo, Colo., Dec. 25, his remains were brought to Saranac for interment. About 4 years ago he was converted and joined the Volunteers of American and became a devoted worker meeting with great success in religious work. He was promoted to a captaincy and he and his wife were stationed in Pueblo, Colo. His funeral was largely attended.
