Ionia Sentinel Standard, 20 Nov 1990

George W. Knapp, 46, of Ionia, died Friday in his home.  He was born the son of
Edward and Helen Knapp on October 9, 1943.

Surviving are his wife, Margaret; three sons, Jerry, Randy and John, all of
Ionia; one daughter, Maria Wirtz of Illinois; one granddaughter, Allison Renae;
his mother, Helen Knapp of Allan Park; two brothers, Charles and Edward Knapp;
three sisters, Racheal Furman, Arbutus Stachuer and Pat Tison. 

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. at the Myers Memorial Chapel in Ionia
with the Rev. Larry Frye officiating.  Burial will be in Balcom Cemetery.  The
family will be at the Chapel from 7-8:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
