Ionia County News - Thurs. Sept. 18, 1947

Leroy Knapp was born March 6, 1914, in Union City, Pa., and passed away Sept. 
10, 1947, in Alpena, by accidental death. He was the son of Glen and Nora 
Knapp. The funeral was held from the Morris Funeral Home, Saturday with Rev. 
Glenn McCarty officiating. He leaves his wife, Dorothy; a seven months old son, 
Lee; four brothers, Orlando, of Stryker, Ohio, Kenneth, of Lansing, Russell at 
home, and Orin, of Frazer, Mich., and his mother.
