She was a resident of Bushnell for many years and has many f riends here. She leaves an aged husband, three daughters, Mrs. Mattie Perrien and Mrs. Bessie Newcomb of Ionia, and Mrs. Maud Worthy of Bushnell; two sons, Vern of California and Fred of Bushnell; seven grandchildren and 11 great- grandchildren, one brother, John Greenhoe, besides many other relatives and friends. Subsequent Publication: The Carson City Gazette, Thursday, May 30, 1935 A good many friends from this vicinity attended the funeral of Mrs. Amanda Knapp at Palo Tuesday afternoon. A large crowd attended the services, and the flowers were beautiful. Rev. McGinnis, a former pastor at Palo, preached the funeral sermon. Mrs. Knapp some time ago chose her test, songs and singers, the minister and pallbearers. Mrs. Blanche Tasker and Mrs. Alice McKimball sang. Loyd Hecht of Vickeryville, Harold Dick of Bushnell, Joe Bailey of Lansing, Bert Bailey, Charles and Wallace Perrien of Ionia, were pallbearers. Burial took place in the Palo cemetery.
