Daily Sentinel-Standard - Wednesday, June 6, 1928

Vaughn Knapp, the six-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Knapp, State road, 
died Tuesday at the Lapeer hospital where he had been since he was two years of 
age. The child had never been well. The body was brought to Ionia Wednesday and 
taken to Stebbins Undertaking parlor on West Main street and the funeral 
services will be held from there Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock and will be in 
charge of Rev. W.F. Kendrick. Burial will be in the Tuttle cemetery. Bedsides 
the parents there is a brother Eldon and a sister Arlene aged eight and three 
at home. Mr. and Mrs. Knapp moved to Ionia from Blanchard a few years ago.
