She was the widow of John Knaapp who was also an active worker in the Salvation Army from 1906 until his death 26 years ago. Mrs. Knapp, the former Etta Jackson of Lake Odessa, had been a resident of Lansing for 37 years. Surviving are a son Owen of Lansing; two daughters, Mrs. William Nunheimer and Mrs. Richard Oberson, both of Lansing two sisters, Mrs. Alice Gilliland of Lake Odessa and Mrs. Lizzie Bachelder of Grand Rapids; a brother, Roy Jackson of Lake Odessa; three grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Funeral services were held Tuesday at 11:30 a.m. at Estes-Leadley Colonial Chapel with burial in Lakeside Cemetery, Lake Odessa. Sr. Captain Hugh Turner of the Salvation Army officiated.
