Thurs. March 13, 1941 HARRY KNAPP Harry Knapp, Ionia township man who had lain in a coma for several days, died at his farm home Thursday at 11 a.m. He would have been 60 years old on March 21. He was born in born in Ionia township, March 21, 1881, the son of Mr and Mrs Eugene Knapp. In 1882, his parents settled on the farm home in Ionia township where Mr Knapp continued to live after the death of his parents. Several weeks ago he sold the stock as he was unable to continue farming due to ill health. He had been in poor health for the past six years. October 16, 1907, he was married to Lelah Croel of North Plains, who now survives him. Also surviving is one sister, Mrs Herman Hoople, of Ionia, and an uncle Orin Stone, Mrs Knapp's sister, Mrs Lula Snyder, has made her home with them for the past few years. He was a member of the Muir church and of the Masonic lodge at Lyons. He was active in the Ionia county farm bureau. Funeral arrangements have not been completed.
