About four years ago he with his parents moved to Lebanon, Clinton county and from there to this community, where he has since resided until the time of his death, which occurred Nov 18, 1921, his age being 18 years, 1 month and 3 days. He leaves to mourn his departure a father and mother, three brothers and a foster sister, besides a large circle of relatives and friends. In his home life he was faithful and obedient, ever ready with a kind word and a pleasant smile. In the circle of his acquaintance he was loved best by those who knew him best. Ever since coming to this neighborhood he has been a faithful attendant of the church and Sunday school, where he will be greatly missed. Floyd was a man of clean character and no bad or immoral habits, and it can be truly said that, "His sun went down in the morning, While all was fair and bright; But it shines today on the far-away hills. In the land that knows no night."
