The Ionia Daily Sentinel, Wednesday, January 2, 1946
Belle L. Knapp, 71, a former Ionian, died at the Community hospital, Battle 
Creek, December 31.  She was the widow of Charles Knapp, and had been making 
her home in Dewitt.  

She is survived by a son Earl Barton of Battle Creek, six grandchildren and 
five great-grandchildren.  Funeral services will be held from the Bradley 
funeral home Thursday afternoon at 2 o’clock.  Interment will be at the Dewitt 
cemetery.
