Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at Neller Funeral Home, the Rev. Mrs. Blanche Neller officiating and burial was in Portland cemetery. Surviving are the wife Mildred and a brother, George of Lansing. The deceased was employed by the Michigan Health Dept.. In 1916 he joined the Michigan State troopers and when World War I started he was sent to patrol the Mexican border. Bearers were Dr. Serge Lensen, Dr.William Fergusen, Dr. Stanley Reed, Bernard Taylor, George Halliburton and Allen Scott.
