Ionia Daily Sentinel, 30 Nov 1956

William Howard Kneale, 86, of rural route four, Ionia died Friday morning at 
2:35 at the residence of his daughter, Mrs. Glenn S. First.  He had been ill 
for three years.

Born in Orange township February 20, 1870 he was a son of William and Sarah 
Kneale and was married September 28, 1898.  He resided at the farm residence, 
route four, Ionia for 54 years.

Preceded in death by his wife Iva in 1941, he is survived by three children, 
Riley W. Kneale, route four, Ionia; Mrs. Irma S. First, route two, Ionia; 
Howard J. Kneale, Lake Odessa; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the Stone-
Kauffman funeral home with the Rev. J. Lawrence Ward officiating.  Interment 
will be in Balcom cemetery.
