Born November 12, 1875 in Berlin township, she was the daughter of Riley and Luana Adgate Harwood, pioneers of Berlin township. She attended school in that township and at the age of eight moved with her parents to the home where she died. September 28, 1898 she married William Kneale. She was a member of LeValley church and before her illness was active in the Woman’s club of Orange township. Survivors are the husband, William, a son Riley, of Berlin township, a daughter, Mrs. Glenn First, of Orange township and another son, Howard Kneale of Orange township. Also surviving are two brothers and a sister, Guy and Jay Harwood, of Orange township and Mrs. Frank Frye of Caron City. There are seven grandchildren. Funeral services for the family are to be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. from the residence. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. from the LeValley church. Rev. Ralph …(illegible)… will officiate and interment will be at Balcom cemetery.
