Ionia Sentinel-Standard - Thurs. March 1, 2012

William (Bill) Kneale, 76, of Ionia passed away Feb. 28, 2012 in Ionia. He was 
born Sept. 7, 1935 in Portland, the son of Riley and Bertha (Thorpe) Kneale.

Bill married Irene Heckman Jan. 7, 1961 in Lansing. He was a member of SS Peter 
& Paul Catholic Church, Farm Bureau, Knights of Columbus and founding member of 
Ionia Farm Power Club. His passion was restoring tractors and farming. He was 
also a supporter of Ionia Free Fair.

Bill is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Irene Kneale of Ionia; 
children, Bill (Barbara) Kneale of Las Vegas, Patricia Barclay of Colorado, Bob 
(Alexa) Kneale of Spring Lake and Catherine (Jack) Sage of Lowell; 
grandchildren, Travis, Amanda, Joey, Danny, Erica, Peter, Jennifer, Alexandra 
and Madison; and one sister, Beverly (Erwin) Sengelaub of Reed City.

He was preceded in death by his parents and infant sister, Rylene.

A funeral mass will be held 11 a.m. Monday at SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church 
with Father Tom Boufford celebrant. Visitation will be held Sunday 2 to 4 and 6 
to 8 p.m. at Lake Funeral Home in Ionia.

 Anyone wishing may make memorial contributions in Bill's name to Ionia Farm 
Power Club, Ionia Hospice or Ionia Free Fair Association. Online condolences
