               KNEALE

LaVerne Alfred Kneale, age 87, of Saranac, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, 
April 16, 2024. He was born on July 6,1936, the son of Howard and Geneva 
(Whitlock) Kneale in Portland,MI. ON May 3, 1957, he married the love of his 
life, the former Marva Fredricks, and together they spent 66 years in marriage. 

LaVerne enjoyed cutting wood. He loved working on his farm and running his 
tractor.

He is survived by his loving wife, Marva of Saranac; children, Jeffrey 
(Colleen)Kneale of Wolverine Lake, Gregory (Tammi)Kneale of Lake Odessa and 
Janet (Ken) Olson of Clarksville; daughter-in-law, Alena Kneale of Portland; 
brother, Gary (Jan) Kneale of Traverse Ciry; 10 grandchildren and 7 great-
grandchildren.

LaVerne was preceded in death by his parents; son, Dennis Kneale; brother, Lyle 
Kneale; and granddaughter, Elisabeth Olson.

Per his wishes, no services will be held at this time. Arrangements in care of
