Born July 14,1938 in Highland Township, Osceola County, MI, daughter of Herbert & Bertha (DeBoer)Fredricks. Married LaVerne Kneale on May 3, 1957. Marva was a devoted Mother & always had a choc. chip cookies made when the kids got home from school. She was skilled at knitting & crocheting & enjoyed making special Santa Claus stockings for everyone in the family. She loved to read, bowl, do puzzles & browse estate sales & antique stores. She had acquired an extensive collection of dolls over the years. In 1998 after 25 years, she retired from working in the kitchen at Saranac High School. Survived by her children; Jeffrey (Colleen) Kneale of Wolverine Lake, Gregory (Tammi) Kneale of Lake Odessa, Janet (Ken) Olson of Clarksville & daughter-in- law Alena Kneale of Portland. Grandchildren; Carl Olson, Megen Wittenbach, Travis (Courtney) Kneale, Brad Kneale, Amelia (Tyler) McGinnis, Cody Kneale, Lindsay (Chris) Bowe, Mackenzie (Kevin) Treman, Kayla Kneale & seven great-grand children. Siblings; Roger Fredricks of South Carolina & Linda (Roger) Altena of Oklahoma. Preceded in death by her husband, LaVerne Kneale, son Dennis Kneale & granddaughter, Elisabeth Olson. Siblings; Elaine Wigger, Don Fredricks, Harvey Fredricks, Bernice Goodemoot, twin Myrna Fredricks, Keith Fredricks & Sandra Fredricks. Special thanks to Heart to heart Hospice of Lansing & the staff at the Brook in Portland. Cremation has taken place & there will be no services at this time.
