The Hastings Reminder, Tuesday, May 11, 1993
Howard J. Kneale age 89 of Lake Odessa passed away Friday May 7, 1993 at the 
Belding Christian Nursing Home.  He was born May 5, 1904 in Ionia County the 
son of William and Iva (Harwood) Kneale).  He attended Coon Rural School and 
was married to Geneva Whitlock August 22, 1931.

Mr. Kneale is survived by his wife, Geneva; three sons, Lyle Kneale of 
Portland; LaVerne Kneale of Saranac; Gerald Kneale of Birmingham; eight 
grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Monday May 10 at the Koops Funeral Chapel, Lake 
Odessa with Reverence Gordon Spalenka officiating.  Burial was at Balcom 
Cemetery Ionia.
