Ionia Standard, 10 Feb 1905

Mrs. A. M. Merriam is in receipt of a message, announcing the death of Mrs. 
Amanda N. Kneeland, at the home of her son, Dr. Howard S. Kneeland, in Cadillac, 
on Saturday evening last.  Decedent was the widow of John K. Kneeland, for many 
years a farmer on North Plains.  She was a sister of the late Mrs. Teressa Cutler 
and of Mrs. Wm. Nolty, and an aunt of Mrs. C. O. Miller, Mrs. Ione Faulkner, 
Archie Anderson of Ionia and James Anderson of Muir, and she was well known to 
most of the older residents of this city and in North Plains.  Her age was 73, 
and her death from pneumonia.
