Belding Banner-News, 16 Jun 1898

Long Lake.  Mr. Kneeland passed quietly away from this world Monday about noon.
 They had hopes up till the last that he would recover.  One sister and
sister-in-law have been with him for the past few weeks.  He was a kind and
loving father and a much respected citizen and will be greatly missed.  He
leaves a wife and two children to mourn his loss.  His son, Warren, had just
returned to his home in South Dakota about two weeks ago.  The family have the
sympathy of all the neighbors and friends.

Orleans.  Mr. Kneeland died Monday of heart trouble at his home one mile north
of Orleans.  He leaves a wife and two sons to mourn the loss of a faithful,
loving husband and father.  Funeral services at the M.E. church Wednesday at
2:30 p.m.
