Scott R. Knepp, 18, of 625 Bridge, Lyons, died Tuesday afternoon at Gratiot
Community hospital in Alma after being a patient there two days.  He was born on
March 27, 1958, the son of William and Ardath Fenn Knepp.

His father, William Knepp, jr., preceded him in death in 1976 and one brother
preceded him in death in 1960.  Survivors include his mother, Ardath of Lyons,
three sisters, Mrs. Sheila Hummel of Portland, Mrs. Kenneth (Romana) Nester of
Jacksonville, North Carolina and Randa Knepp of Lyons.  

Services are Friday at 2 p.m. in the Lyons United Methodist church with Rev.
Richard Straight officiating.  Burial is in East Plains cemetery.  The family
will receive friends and relatives at the Hull Memorial chapel Thursday 7 to 9
p.m.  A memorial fund is established for Lyons United Methodist church.
