Ionia Sentinel Standard, 6 Feb 1964

Saranac – August J. Knickrehm, 81, died February 5 at Ionia County Memorial
hospital.  Born September 15, 1882 in Germany, he came to the United States in
1910 and lived in Ionia where he was a gardener by trade.  

He is survived by one son, Arthur of Saranac.

Funeral service will be conducted Friday at 2:30 p.m. at the Morris funeral home
with the Rev. Eldon Cummings officiating.  Burial will be at Highland Park
cemetery.
