Funeral services for Frank J. Knoop, 73, of route 1, Pewamo will be Wednesday 
at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Catholic church in Pewamo with Rev. Fr. Francis 
Hackett officiating and burial will be in the church cemetery.

Mr. Knoop died Sunday of a heart attack and was pronounced dead on arrival at 
Ionia County Memorial hospital.

He was born in Westphalia, April 1, 1894 the son of Henry and Josephine Knoop 
and lived in Pewamo-Westphalia area all his life.  April 10, 1928 he was 
married to Helen Werner in Fowler.  He was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic 
church and Holy Name society.

Surviving is his wife Helen; one son Joseph at home; two brothers Ferd and 
Albert of Westphalia; three sisters, Mrs. Clara Wieber of Fowler; Mrs. Theresa 
Pohl of Westphalia; and Mrs. Ann Smith of Portland.

Rosary will be recited daily at 3 and 8 p.m. at George funeral chapel of Osgood 
funeral home in Fowler.
