                      Dorothy Jeanne Knop

Dorothy Jeanne Knop 89, of Saranac, passed away Aug.9, 2010. She was born 
feb.20, 1921, in Saranac, the daughter fo Keith and Gertrude (Locher) Talcott.

She married Kerwin "Kirby" Knop, June 22, 1947, in Saranac. He preceded her in 
death Jan.22, 1993.

Dorothy worked on the farm with her husband and family. She enjoyed gardening 
and loved spending time with her grandchildren and family at her home.

Dorothy is survived by her son Roger (Bonnie) Knop of Saranac, and daughter 
Lorraine (Robert) Edewaard of Florida; four grandchildren, Tony Knop, Jeremy 
Knop, Schuyler Edewaard and Mason Edewaard brothers William (Marilyn) Talcott of 
Saranac and David (Eleanor) Talcott of Saranac; and good friend, Clare Stone.

She is preceded in death by one brother, Charles; two sisters, Pat Wyman and 
Shirley Swiger; and her parents.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday at Saranac Community church with 
Rev. Kenneth Harger officiating.Interment Saranac Cemetery. The family will 
receive friends and relatives Thursday, 2 to 4 p.. and 6 to 8 p.m. at Lake 
Funeral Home in Saranac.
