Ionia Daily Sentinel Standard - Wed. Sept. 7, 1955
Harvey Knott, 72, of Lake Odessa, life-long resident of Ionia County, died 
Tuesday at 3 p.m. at Penock hospital in Hastings where he had been a patient 
the last week. He was born October 10, 1882 in Sebewa township, the son of 
William and Adelia Knott and had resided in lake Odessa for the past 63 years. 
He was a member of the Central Methodist church.

Survivors are a sister, Flossie Earle, with whom he had made his home recently; 
one brother, James, of Lowell and nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 2 O’clock at the Pickens 
funeral chapel and burial will be at Lakeside cemetery.
