The Ionia Daily Sentinel, Tuesday, March 10, 1942
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 2 p.m. from the home of her 
daughter, Mrs. Esta Middaugh, in Lake Odessa for Mrs. Rebecca Ellen Tusing 
Knott, who died Saturday afternoon at Lake Odessa.  Interment will be at 
Lakeside cemetery.  

Born in Odessa township June 5, 1882, she has lived her entire life in this 
county.  She was married February 3, 1908 in Ionia to Alonzo L. Knott.  She 
had been in ill health for some time before her death.  Surviving are five 
daughters, Mrs. Zoe Jensen of Grand Rapids, Mrs. Eleanor Rolls of Sebewa, Mrs. 
Middaugh of Lake Odessa, Mrs. Irene Brink of Broken Bow, Nebraska, and Mrs. 
Geraldine Eldridge of Lake Odessa.  Also four grandchildren and two sisters, 
Mrs. Mary Vandecar and Mrs. Eva Tusing of Woodbury.
