Ionia Daily Sentinel Standard, 12 Jul 1944

George Knowles, 84, died Tuesday afternoon in Berlin township where he had lived
for the past two years.  Mr. Knowles had spent nearly his entire life in the
city of Ionia, residing on East Lincoln avenue.

Surviving is a son in Jackson, a granddaughter, Mrs. Juriene Fox, of Texas and a
brother, Harry Knowles of Ionia.

Funeral services will be held Friday morning at 11 o’clock at the Boynton
funeral home.  Burial will be in the family lot in Highland Park cemetery.
