Ionia Daily Sentinel, 15 Feb 1917

Mrs. Eliza A. Knowles, aged 76, died this morning at 5 o’clock at her home on
East Lincoln avenue.  She had been confined to her bed for several months,
having fallen and broken her hip last fall.  She is survived by two grandsons. 
Jesse and Frank Root.  Mr. Knowles died in 1908.  Funeral services will be held
at the residence Saturday afternoon at 2 o’clock, Rev. C.E. Hoag officiating. 
Interment in Highland Park Cemetery.
