Ionia Sentinel Standard, 11 Mar 1944

Prayer services were held Saturday afternoon for Charles Kobel, son of Mr. and
Mrs. Roy Kobel, of East Main street, who died at birth Friday, March 10, at
12:15 p.m. at the Ionia County Memorial hospital.  Services were held at 4
o’clock and Rev. R.A. Rook, pastor of St. John’s Lutheran church, officiated and
burial was in Highland Park cemetery.

He is survived by his parents, one sister and five brothers, at home.
