Mrs. Koch was of the Lutheran faith, and the pastor of the Lutheran church, Rev. B. H. Succop, was in charge of the services. Although of late years Mrs. Koch had lived a quiet life, restricting her social contacts almost entirely to those who came to visit at her residence, the home was filled Thursday afternoon with many old friends dining with the relatives for the services. The bearers were Frank Hall, Herbert Hall, George Koch, Fred Cook, Chauncey Antcliff, and Fred Schick. Burial was in the Oak Hill cemetery. Among those from out of town attending the services were Mr. and Mrs. E. C. Bowlby, Benton Harbor; L. Schick, Lansing; Mrs. Mary Gall, Ann Arbor, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Cook and son, Detroit; Mr. and Mrs. George Koch and children of Grand Rapids; Mrs. Arthur Nead and son, Detroit, Christian Girbach, Andrew Girbach, and G. Girbach, of Saline, and several from the internal revenue department of Detroit where Fred Cook is employed.
