Born November 22, 1958, in St. Johns, she was the daughter of Loile and Oleta Rumbaugh Koeppen. She attended the Holt public school until moving to Lyons three years ago. She was a sophomore at Ionia high school. She was a former 4H club member and also played on the Ionia girls’ baseball team during the summer. She was a baptized member of the St. Johns Lutheran church of Ionia. Besides the parents, she leaves two brothers, Louis and Earl at home; two sisters, Donna Koeppen of Ionia and Mary Ann at home; paternal grandmother, Mrs. Clara Koeppen of St. Johns and maternal grandfather, William Rumbaugh of Hartford, Conn. Funeral services will be today at 2 p.m. at the Hull memorial chapel in Muir. Rev. R. Gallert of St. Johns Lutheran church will officiate and interment will be in Eureka Cemetery. ------------ Funeral services for Marlene K. Koeppen of Lyons were Tuesday at 2 p.m. in Muir. Rev. A.R. Gallert of St. Johns Lutheran church of Ionia officiated and interment was in the Eureka cemetery near St. Johns. Bearers were Gerald, Donald and Fred Koeppen, Robert Rowland, James Wall and Maurice Haviland. A meal was served to the family at the St. Johns Lutheran school in Ionia by the church women, following services.
