Hasting's Reminder Saturday July 31, 2021

WILLIAM E. KOETJE
William E. Koetje, age 58, of Lake Odessa passed unexpectedly in to the arms of 
Jesus on July 15, 2021.

Bill was born on November 6, 1962 in Grand Rapids, to Eugene and Joyce Koetje. 
On March 17,1989 he married Tanya Oosterhouse. Bill loved to play card games 
with his family. He was an avid gardener, hunter and hobby farmer. History was a 
true passion of his, which he has passed on to his kids.

Bill will be lovingly remembered by wife, Tanya; children, Josiah, Jesse, 
Mathew, Elizabeth "Gracie" Lucas and Kathyyn; parents Joyce (Royce) Wilcox; in-
laws, Ken (Nancy) Oosterhouse; siblings, Peter Koetje and Kristine (John) 
VanLaan; brothers-in-law, Ryan (Sarah) Oosterhouse, Seth (Becky) Oosterhouse, 
Caleb (Mallory) Oosterhosue; sister-in-law, Julie (David) Kastanek.

Preceded in death  by his father, Eugene Koetje.

Funeral services were held at the Christ the King PCA Church in Hastings on 
Tuesday, July 20, 2021 with burial taking place at Clarksville Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials would be appreciated to the family to help with 
the children's educational expenses.
