Mary Alice Kohloff, 72, a longtime resident of St. Clair Shores died Wednesday 
at Mt. Clemens General Hospital in Mt. Clemens.  Mrs. Kohloff was born on Dec. 
21, 1929 in Ionia, the daughter of Martin and Mildred McNamara.

She is survived by her children, Kathleen (Steve) Hoeper, Mary Beth (Rodger) 
Hermann, Thomas Kohloff, James (Christine) Kohloff, Anne (Keith) Crowe and 
Timothy (Margaret) Kohloff; a brother, John McNamara; and 10 grandchildren.  
She was predeceased by her husband, Robert in 1992; and a brother, Martin 
Daniel McNamara Jr.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m., Saturday at Kaul Funeral Home, 
28433 Jefferson, St. Clair Shores.  Burial will take place at Clinton Grove 
Cemetery, Mt. Clemens.

Memorials to the American Heart Association or the Alzheimer’s Association 
would be appreciated.
