Mrs. Inez Kohn, 65, died at her home in Bloomer township, Montcalm county, 
Sunday afternoon, March 16, after being ill for about a year.  She was the wife 
of George Kohn, state representative now in his second term and former member 
of the Michigan agricultural marketing council.

She was born April 5, 1886, in Smyrna, daughter of Cyrus and Ellen Beedy.  She 
was a member of East Bushnell Aid society and the Bloomer Farm Bureau group.

Surviving are the husband, George; two daughters, Mrs. Richard Hawley of Ionia 
and Mrs. Lawrence Doomershine of Lansing; four grandchildren; and one sister, 
Mrs. Jennie Busley of Tampa, Fla.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Palo Methodist 
church.  Interment will be in River Ridge cemetery in Belding.  The body will 
be at Stebbins funeral home in Sheridan until about 11 a.m. Wednesday when it 
will be taken to the church.
