Kohn, aged 73 years, at the home of his son, Peter, in Louisville, Kentucky, where he had gone about a month ago in the hope that his health would be benefited by the change in climate. Mr. Kohn was a pioneer resident of Otisco township and had lived on the farm which he owned in the south east part of the township for practically half a century. He was highly esteemed and well liked by all with whom he came in contact and his death, coming at a ripe old age, is learned of with regret by all who knew him. The remains were brought back and taken to the funeral parlors of a nephew, Mr. Faber, at Greenville and the funeral was held on Saturday morning at nine o’clock at St. Mary church, Miriam, of which he had been a life-long member. Rev. Fr. Lawrence A. Dorr officiating and burial was in the cemetery by the side of his wife who preceded him into eternity some years ago. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Frank Kemp, of Miriam, a son, Peter Kohn, of Louisville, Kentucky, a brother, Anthony Kohn, of Keene and a number of other relatives and friends.
