Mrs. Kohn was one of five children born to Henry and Mary Krupp, pioneer residents and settlers in the Miriam district and she was the last of the family to die. Mrs. Kohn was a life-long and devout member of the Catholic church and her funeral services were held in St. Mary’s church, Miriam, on Saturday morning at nine o’clock, with Rev. Fr. L. L. Dorr officiating and burial was in the cemetery there. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Clyde Day, at whose home the mother was at the time of her death, and Mrs. Elliott Chadwick of Ionia. Mrs. Kohn was a woman of sterling character, a citizen of the highest type and a woman whose death coming as it did after a long and useful life, will be learned of with genuine regret by her legion of friends.
